AYANNA GREGORY

Ayanna is no stranger to the entertainment world. While growing up as the daughter of celebrated Comedian and Human Rights Activist Dick Gregory, she was blessed with the opportunity to interact with such mega talents as Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. But the glamour of the entertainment world isn’t what resonated most with her. Raised with a deep awareness and concern for Human Rights, Ayanna’s musical roots are steeped in the struggle of the “Freedom Movement”. Ayanna knew early on that her gift of song would be her gift to the struggle.
In 1990, Ayanna became recognized as a powerful and progressive voice as a student activist at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Here she was called on to sing and speak at marches, rallies and anti-war demonstrations. From there and for the next decade, Ayanna would become a major voice within the various cultural, political, and spiritual movements in the nation’s capitol. In 1992, Ayanna joined 2000 Black, a “message music” project and went on to record, perform and tour with this group for the next six years. In 1999, Ayanna teamed up with grammy nominated producer James McKinney to bring forth her first solo project, “Beautiful Flower”, released in 2003. In June 2007, Ayanna released her second cd project, “Ballad For My Father: Tribute to Dick Gregory”. And her 2011 release, entitled “NOW”, is quietly becoming a powerful healing anthem around the country. Most recently, Ayanna has released her much anticipated Children’s Album entitled, “I DREAM A WORLD” in January 2013. This upbeat and powerful album is already inspiring young people everywhere to actualize their greatness and “live out Loud”!
Ayanna’s mission continues to take her around the country and across the globe. In addition to her life as a soul singer, she spends much of her time as an educator and motivational speaker, teaching life skills and creative arts to school children and lecturing before diverse audiences. Her newest creations are two powerful One Woman Shows, “Growing Up Gregory” and “Daughter Of The Struggle”. These performances recreate Ayanna’s beautiful and and inspiring journey as the daughter of a freedom fighter.

With the release of her debut CD, “Beautiful Flower”, Ayanna Gregory introduced herself to the world. For this singer, songwriter, and agent of change, music and art are more than entertainment; they are her mission. And with penetrating depth, Ayanna’s music is making audiences feel and heal. In a time so needy of real music, Ayanna is bringing to the world a most beautiful and meaningful brand of Soul Music.

PEPPABOY TRILL MCCOY

Peppa boy is one of the most sought after indie artists in the South.  As a talented producer, writer and musician, his music is designed for the masses and is received by all.  His business sense finds him at the helm of his entertainment company, Colacoast Entertainment. Colacoast Entertainment is a lifestyle brand that creates music, film, television, and fashion and exposes the unique value of the Gulf Coast region to the world. Spanning four states within three hours (FL, AL, MS, LA), the Gulf Coast is a gumbo of flavor, also including Texas and Mexico further west. Focusing our music on corporate branding, Colacoast Entertainment's high brand value is attractive to companies seeking to boost their marketing campaigns.
In addition to becoming a seasoned lyricist, Peppa also studied sports management with a concentration in golf at the University of Florida. He later earned a degree in petroleum technology from Baton Rouge Community College. While he did not graduate from UF, his time at UF was crucial in the development of becoming the artist he is today. While “pledging” for his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, he would frequently be called upon to freestyle for the Big Brothers. He would go for hours at a time, entertaining them with street-oriented, pimpish, playamade flows. His sporty, game-spittin’ style, seasoned with his own original flavor and slang, earned him the name Peppaboy. His clever wordplay and action-packed antics are also how he gained the second half of his name while free styling – “Peppaboy Trill McCoy/Riding on some Chip Ahoy (paint)/Talkin’ on my flippatoy (cell phone) to a purdy gal from Illinois.”
Peppa also developed his stage presence and showmanship while attending UF through his performances in step show competitions and exhibitions. As “Kanemaster” of his chapter, he was responsible for choreographing all of their step shows and fast-became known for mesmerizing crowds of thousands with his kane-twirling ability.
In a short amount of time, Peppaboy Trill McCoy has independently built the Colacoast brand into an international network and household name, creating a solid fan base throughout the US, Mexico, Europe, and even Canada. Since his 2009 debut, starting from the Gulf Coast region, he took his movement on the road, capturing the music industry one market at a time. With high energy performances, in person PR, and a promotional/marketing machine that is second to none, Peppaboy Trill McCoy is arguably one of the most highly valued Artists in the country.
