LINA

Lina's sound crosses several music genres including Jazz, Soul, Hip-hop, Gospel and Pop. A lyricist, Lina's depth puts you in the mind of Lauren Hill or Mos Def. In 1998, Lina got her first big break as a songwriter by penning a tune for Tyrese's self-titled debut album. Lina proved herself to also be a solid songwriter, penning "Ain't Nothing Like a Jones" for Tyrese. A musician's musician, who sings classical music in eight languages, Lina writes all of her songs, and her delivery is sometimes reminiscent of the great Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn. In spite of many comparisons, she’s an original. Her sound is fresh and in its own lane. Lina's Stranger On Earth debut was released in 2001. The critically acclaimed album was named as one of "2001's Top 10 albums of the year" by Billboard magazine. The album turned out the US hit, “It’s Alright” and the hip-hoperatic UK hit, “Playa No More” plus “I’m Not The Enemy” which was featured in the 20th Century Fox Film, High Crimes. Critics praised the disc's bold theme, a syncopation of music past and present: with its combination of classic and modern sounds. Lina's sophomore album The Inner Beauty Movement was released on Hidden Beach/Moodstar/Universal in 2005 and produced such hits as "Smooth", the steppers anthem and "Leaving You." With rave reviews from UK’s The Sunday Times and Vibe Magazine, The Inner Beauty Movement showed Lina’s fans that she was committed to creating consistently good music.

WINSTON WARRIOR

Atlanta born and truly Southern raised, Winston Warrior painfully lost his virginity to the music industry in the ‘90s. As an original member of the break-out R&B group, Lo’ Profile, Winston’s budding music career was promising and longevity was the plan. They already had two hit singles, “Missing You” and “Play Melody” on radio rotation and garnered much local industry acclaim. Winston, along with his group-mates, were frequently booked as opening acts for major artists such as Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Dru Hill, Soul 4 Real, and Bone Thugs N Harmony.  With packed venues, a growing fanbase, and a successful audition with an influential player in the game, all of the group’s hurdles had been cleared with grace. Success, however, never comes easily and it soon became apparent how crucial a role ulterior motives had played in their achievements and the group split up. While the collaborative dream did not make it to fruition, the ever present longing for Winston to create and fulfill his artistic goals never dissipated. He was now armed with a business degree from the University of Miami and had plenty of production and performance experience under his belt to pursue a path in marketing. Although not in the spotlight as before, success in Winston’s corporate endeavors soon followed and he was able to make new as well as retain the strong industry connections he had from his showman days. Hesitant, however, to reemerge as a musician because he had been away from the game for so long, Winston’s insecurities overshadowed his desire to sing. Fortunately, Winston’s support system was instrumental in encouraging him to reconnect with his music once again. This time, however, he is wiser and in complete control of his artistic vision.  No longer a teenage singer, Winston is more mature.  The sound of his music harkens back to the sounds of one-name legends like Luther, Freddie, Teddy, Barry, and Donny.  Winston’s music is a fusion of smooth hip hop beats and harmonic R&B themes, coined by him as “Vintage R&B”.  His music pays tribute to the feel-good R&B and soul music of the late 80’s and 90’s, but with the edginess of today’s production creativity that will be supplied by collaborations with various producers including Don Vito and Sean McMillion from Don Vito Productions. Atlanta-based producer, Don Vito, widely known for work with Ciara, Cherish, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, Omarion, and Yung Joc, to name a few, was an early believer and advocate of Winston’s objective.
